Design and construction supervision of the El Cercado Dam and ancillary works

SUMMARY

Multipurpose regulation project comprised by a 194 million of m3 effective reservoir for an irrigation system of 18.530 ha in the municipalities of San Juan del Cesar, Distracción, Fonseca and Barrancas; furthermore it will supply water for the Water Distribution Systems in 8 municipalities in the department of La Guajira.

SCOPE

Supervision of the detailed designs and construction for the Ranchería Project, included the El Cercado dam, ancillary works
and the main conduits to the irrigation districts of Ranchería and San Juan del Cesar.
